Racing comes back to Warrnambool racecourse and Canterbury racecourse this Wednesday for two very solid cards to continue kicking the week off from our Tuesday racecards and the Warrnambool carnival. I am pretty keen on a couple of betting spots in particular after going through both of the cards and posted full length free horse racing tips. Best Tip: Canterbury - R2 - #7 - Super Zippi

Super Zippi comes here for her Canterbury debut in a maiden that has shaped up to be very deep but I think that with the benefit of a few good runs aboard he’s going to be tough to get past here. His past two starts have come at Wyong and the Hawkesbury when getting unlucky two back, not able to find a spot until late to get past the winner when doing all the work into second and then battling on well last time out from the worst part of the ground at the Hawkesbury into third. He maps to get a nice trail in here and should be strong from near the front.

Best Roughie: Warrnambool - R6 - #8 - Sky Hero

Sky Hero is one I am willing to entertain at longer odds for Amy McDonald. He resumed over the 2600m at Cranbourne when letting down hard from the back of the field and smashed them over the top late when winning very well. His jumps trial recently was sharp and he looks to have overall returned to racing in top shape.

Stats and Insights

Canterbury is a much tighter track than most NSW courses, giving significant advantage to close on pacers and those close to the rail in general. It also favours late rails-in-run horses due to the tight turning nature.

Chris Waller sends an assault of runners to Canterbury Park tomorrow and is one of the top trainers at the course so watch for his runners there tomorrow.

Lindsey Smith is the top trainer at Warrnambool by some margin so look out for her runners tomorrow at the course.
