Best Bets of the Day

Racing returns to Wagga racecourse and Kembla Grange racecourse this Tuesday for two good little cards to kick the week off for us and I have been a little bit absent over the weekend as I was quite sick but I did follow some of Saturday’s racing and saw the exciting Group 1 races that took place, it seemed like quite a trick weekend of horse racing betting and I am keen to get the ball rolling this week again. In this article I have picked out my best bet and best outside chance of the day across the two of them. I’ve also outlined our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. In the final part of the article you should find some helpful track insights for both the racecourses which should assist your horse racing betting. Follow me below for another great day of racing this Tuesday!

Best Tip: Kembla Grange - R6 - #2 - Field Marshal

I think that Field Marshal looks like quite a smart horse for Joe Pride and could very well be onto bigger and better things after this race. He’s made three out of seven starts winning ones and showed sharp improvement last time out when second up in a big field at the Hawkesbury and coming five wide in the straight to win very well. He looks like he still has further scope for improvement third up here and should be running well here.

BEST OF THREE TOTES

*The Best Tote bet type pays bettors the highest dividend declared by the three national totes. The VIC TAB, NSW TAB and UBet. This likely means that there aren't fixed odds available at the time of writing this on that bookmaker and there likely will be.

Best Roughie: Wagga - R4 - #2 - Miller Time

I think that Miller Time is going a lot better than it reads on paper and can take this out hard fit now third up. He resumed with nothing doing at Albury off of a long spell two back where he led and weakened out of it late before stepping out at Tumut last time out where he was trapped three wide with no cover throughout the run and whilst he did a tonne of work on the speed he again weakened out of it late. I do think he will take a stack of benefit from those two runs, is now hard fit and only goes well here for me.

Stats and Insights

  • Matty Dale is one of the top three trainers at Wagga Racecourse, he has a few runners tomorrow that are all in the first few lines of betting so look for them.
  • Kembla Grange is a very spacious course that is different to a lot of other provincial racecourses and mimics something more like Randwick which lends plenty of opportunity for runners to come on strongly late in the piece.

Best Horse Racing Betting Sites

Best Racing Promotions

Promotions have historically been a great way for bettors to gain an advantage over betting sites by providing an edge to your bet. For racing specifically these promotions can be extensive in providing you some form of ‘outs’ to your bet that you wouldn’t normally receive.

Palmerbet, in recent weeks, has stood out to me across the Aussie betting sites that offer racing promotions and is one that I would take a look at, especially for big race days that feature Group 1 races and Saturday’s in general.

On our site we have a Palmerbet Review that goes in depth into the bookmaker as well as  a Vicbet and Punterspal Review amongst some of the other top bookmakers that frequently have promotions.

Promotions tend to change regularly, so it is important to sign up to these betting sites to stay updated on the latest applicable promotions.
