Harlow Mist looks like a good thing going for John Sargent and I think if he can beat second up syndrome he’s going to look lethal in this field. He debuted for the stable after being patiently worked along in a bunch of trials at Goulburn mid last month on a Heavy track where he sat 4th and two wide in the run before coming off heels to chase hard in the straight and he just kept finding another gear to get the bob of the heads in the final stride there. Reece Jones sticks, he gets in at 57kg again and will have plenty more to offer only second up here off the back of his debut run.

Cochrane maps to get every chance here from the low barrier and should get the right kind of run to be prominent late. He rarely runs a bad race at this course and picked up a win here three runs back over 100m dearer than this when wide all run and still able to take the field out. Last time out he stepped out at Bluff in a BM65 in a small field of 5 over this distance when racing well on the speed but just finding one better late in a smart winner. He has been wound up again for a quick turn around with that run coming only a week ago and he gets in with no weight on his back at just 51kg after the claim from Molloy which should give him even greater chances. Keen to have something on at the price.
