Racing comes back to Randwick racecourse and Flemington racecourse for some of the biggest racing of the year and we have massive listed racing cards set for The Big Dance at Randwick and of course, the premier staying contest of the season, the Melbourne Cup at Flemington tomorrow. I have run through both of the cards and picked out a best bet and a roughie of the day across each but there will be plenty of good betting spots tomorrow so make sure to utilise the track insights at the bottom of this article. Wow, feature race of the day, I can’t believe the Melbourne Cup has come back around already and the reigning champion Gold Trip has seen a better lead up campaign this time around than last year and I think that now that his feet problems are under control he is going to be tough to beat here. He ran a smart third place in the Caulfield Cup and then nearly claimed the Cox Plate when not getting the easiest of runs. He now gets Jmac aboard whilst losing Zahra but we all know Jmac will be more than capable here.

I am a huge fan of Attractable and think he has been set up for a race like this after coming out of the Alan Brown stakes at Rosehill where he ran very well given how much work he had to do from up on the speed and still finding the line with real purpose. If he was coming from a bigger stable he would be outright favourite here undoubtedly. Randwick lately has also been playing up and in and given Attractable’s run style that is just about perfect for him. Very keen.
