Best Bets of the Day

Racing returns to Hawkesbury racecourse and the Pakenham synthetic racecourse for a really nice Tuesday of meetings as we aim to hit back hard from a luckless last couple days of horse racing betting and we got unlucky this Monday with our roughie of the day being just out of the placings and our best bet getting a suck run but in this Best Bets tips I have picked out another overall best bet of the day and best outside chance of the day and attached to the tips where you can get the best overall odds across our horse racing betting sites. There’s a small section below the tips in which you can find a write up on the best promotions going around on the betting apps to further increase our chances of making profitable bets. I think that there are some solid spots tomorrow and I am keen to get stuck into things so follow me below for another solid Tuesday of racing at two tracks we have been successful at historically!

Best Tip: Hawkesbury - R4 - #2 - Kokoshnik

Kokoshnik rates a fair ways in front of this field and I think that this Anthony and Sam Freedman trained horse has struck a race that can turn his luck around off the back of a bunch of close placings since his win earlier this campaign. His last two efforts have seen him go from 1400m to 1600m and two back he was slowly away before displaying quite a dynamic run style to weave a path and get past all but the winner on a track which favoured front runners before stepping out last time over the 1600m and being ridden with far more intent to find the lead early and still have a solid turn of foot for them in the straight but was claimed late by Remus who looks progressive and got the run of the race. He’s hard fit, Adkins should have plenty of options from barrier five and I expect them to be near the speed or leading and controlling, either way he looks good here

BEST OF THREE TOTES

*The Best Tote bet type pays bettors the highest dividend declared by the three national totes. The VIC TAB, NSW TAB and UBet. This likely means that there aren't fixed odds available at the time of writing this on that bookmaker and there likely will be.

Best Roughie: Pakenham - R3 - #2 - Kurolation

I think that Kurolation can resume as a winner in this field and if he can find his best with fresh legs, which the record shows it doesn’t take much for him to get going, then he will have something on these at a big price. The Greg Eurell product has only had the nine career starts thus far and has come awfully close to shedding the maiden tag in five of them but just keeps bumping into smart horses and now gets his chance stepping onto the synthetic where I think he has been placed with intent given the booking of Ben Melham. He’s had no public trials and comes into this off the back of a long 25 week spell which is the query but with the booking of a top jockey, the way that the stable has been going and the way his splits read for this I think that all signs point towards a big showing. Go close at odds.

Stats and Insights

  • Hawkesbury Racecourse is known to have a very real “home track advantage” and pro punters have affirmed that there are certain runners that irrespective of their form at other tracks, if they perform historically at Hawkesbury then that form is likely genuine.
  • Pakenham is one of the smallest tracks in the country, with only 1400m circumference and as such suited to front-runners and those horses with the ability to race handy to the pace
  • Often, at 1400m - 1600m at Pakenham Synthetic winners predominantly emerge from barriers 5-8 which suggests those horses who either fire straight onto the speed or those that sit just behind the speed have the greatest chances.

Best Horse Racing Betting Sites

Best Racing Promotions

Promotions are an imperative aspect of horse racing betting and have traditionally been the primary mode of punters getting an edge over the  Aussie horse racing betting sites as you are essentially getting an extra shot at your bet that you wouldn’t traditionally be offered through promotions.

Punterspal, in the last few Saturday racing meetings, has stuck out to me amongst the Aussie betting sites that provide racing promotions and is one Australian betting apps I would look into, particularly when it comes to Saturday racing as we approach the Group 1 races season again this Spring.

On our site we have a Punterspal Review that goes in depth into the bookmaker as well as other reviews such as Vicbet reviews, Palmerbet reviews etc amongst some of the other top bookmakers that frequently have promotions.

Promotions tend to change regularly, so it is important to sign up to these betting sites to stay updated on the latest applicable promotions.
