Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 09/01/24

Racing returns to our some familiar Tuesday suspects with solid cards set for Taree racecourse and Rockhampton racecourse and we come off the back of a decent day in horse racing betting with our best bet getting unlucky but our roughie of the day being able to run home quite nicely into the placings. I think we can do better tomorrow however and have gone across the cards and picked out another best bet and best outside chance of the day as well as  where you can get the best odds across our aussie betting sites / betting apps and then also outline our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. The whole market appears to be on the ball with Garnett Taylor’s debutant tomorrow up north and fair enough after the way that he blitzed a trial at the Sunshine Coast inner track recently. He went there in Mid November and powered through the entire run to win over the 850m in good time but more so physically he looks a big solid horse and a nice type for these sprinting distances and the stable rarely gets these wrong. Good draw, Huxtable aboard, looks a good opening bet.

There’s a very short priced favourite in this race and whilst I don’t think that he’s a bad horse at all and steps out for a big stable I just think that the odds are completely skew relative to Glen Milligan’s Uncut Gem who has only had the one run for the stable since coming over from Brad Widdup but I think that after the way he made his debut for the stable when in the Heavy and not getting the easiest of runs but despite that still being so strong in defeat I think he will go very well here getting back atop the ground, fitter and with a claimer aboard.
