I like the look of Annabel Neasham’s Incessant to get the win here second up and second overall in his career. He debuted over the 1400m at Randwick-Kensington two weeks ago where he set towards the rear from a wide gate and was held up when starting his run from the 300m-100m but once he got clear he powered home into 2nd place where he very likely would have won if he had gotten clear air sooner. Based on his run style he looks to have a killer turn of foot and going out to 1600m should go very well here.

I like the look of Remix here for the Moroney stable. He’s had three runs back from a spell and now with some fitness he really looks to have gotten going and clicked up now. He has taken some time to get going from the 22 week spell but when stepping out at Benalla last time over 100m further than this he was racing well before being held up badly and being shuffled back to last at the 600m before finally finding room late and flashing home to power into third place. Anymore luck there and I really do think he would have won that. He’s hard fit now, no issue coming back 100m in trip and I think he only runs well at a nice price.
