Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 19/09/23

Racing returns to Mackay racecourse and Corowa racecourse for bumper seven race cards and it has been a great week already in horse racing betting off the back of what was quite a successful day for us during the group 1 races season last Saturday with my Saturday tips doing quite nicely and a bunch getting up at decent prices, including a listed win for Think It Over at around $6.50. I am keen to get the ball rolling again in advance of my Wednesday tips being released and have gone through the aforementioned racecourses cards and picked out an overall best bet of the day and best outside chance of the day as well where you can get the bets odds across our horse racing betting sites and then also outlined our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. Mackay racecourse looks to have some decent betting spots tomorrow but I do think that Class Of Royalty for the Fleming stable and is a track specialist. She gets a soft draw here and with Ryan Wiggins retaining the ride they map to have every chance from barrier two. She is also in career best form coming into this off the back of back to back wins where she has run well in transit in each before really clicking up and powering ahead for softish wins in the last 200m of the race. The stable clearly thinks she has more in the tank to make it three in a row at the track and trip and whilst she does have to beat an honest challenge in the favourite i think she is the top rater in this field.

Fire And Gemstone has only had the one preparation at the races to go by but now comes into this race approaching peak fitness third up and is a third up winner in her past prep. That win did come over the 1200m and was quite a soft maiden kill but her splits have her real competitive in this field. Both of her runs this time have come tough with her forcing to track the fields out wide but I do think the runs read better when you watch them over being on paper. She has found plenty given both of the tough runs to come on in the straights and whilst she hasn’t been a winning chance she has been strong through the line in each and I now like her hard fit, out to the 1600m, I think she lines up well here and is over the odds.
