Racing comes back to some of the premier tracks in NSW and VIC with awesome cards set for Randwick racecourse and Caulfield racecourse and we have a bunch of super solid fields set for these boxing day meetings. I am keen to get the ball rolling this week after not having any Christmas racing and I have picked out a few betting spots so in this article I have outlined a best bet and best outside chance of the day across the racecourses as well as where you can get the best odds across our aussie betting sites / betting apps and then also outline our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. I think that Lion’s Roar looks very well placed here for John O’Shea. He was four weeks between runs when last stepping out over the Mile at Randwick and I think considering he was four weeks between runs there he ran very well after jumping awkwardly and hitting another runner in the straight he was still able to run on very strongly to place third to the sharp Loch Eagle. He now comes into this a fortnight between runs and should be very tough to beat here.

Plus Fours has to rate highly here for Phillip Stokes coming into this third up, hard fit and ready to fire back from the break from racing. He last stepped out four weeks between runs at this course when sitting on the leaders’ backs and finding a gap at the 200m to power through, look the winner and just be found out late by Kusini in an effort that easily should have seen him win with any luck at all in that run. He rates well off the back of that run and has been turned around quicker for this.
