Racing returns to some familiar faces with bumper cards set for Rockhampton racecourse and Newcastle racecourse and we come off the back of a great little Monday of racing where our best bets tips went very nicely with our roughie of the day coming third at $2.50 across the Aussie betting sites and our best bet of the day getting the job done at just shorter than the price I had it listed at. I am keen to keep the momentum going with another solid day of racing and I have picked out a best bet and a best outside chance of the day across the two aforementioned tracks as well as where to pick up the best odds for these picks across the Aussie betting sites / betting apps. Freckle Rock hadn’t been seen at the races since September 2021 when he was racing very well for Maher and Eustace and then came back to racing from a 99 week spell after being sold to Ricky Vale. He won two sharp trials and a couple jump outs to lead him back into racing and recently resumed at this track a week and a half ago where he looks to still have what it takes when setting just off the speed and starting a big run on the turn to power home into third and clock some good splits in the process. That was first up in nearly two years so I imagine he will have plenty to offer second up now. Keen.

Bianco Nero resumed off of a 21 week spell at the Hawkesbury for Matt Smith and I think the run was a lot better than it reads on paper. He set well back in the field after crossing from a wide gate and when he started to look for a run in the straight he was forced wider and wider and was trapped for a run constantly. He wasn’t totally disgraced there though, clocked some decent splits and looks like he will have plenty of improvement to come. He draws a wide gate again here but will have lots to offer second up now and the booking of Dylan Gibbons signals real intent. I think he is overs in this field.
