Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 05/07/23

Midweek racing returns to Kensington Racecourse and Sandown Lakeside Racecourse for what is set to be some very good meetings by the looks of things and I have posted ful articles in my free horse racing tips on both the courses as well as in this bets bets tips article picking out my overall best bet and roughie of the day. Unfortunately my roughie of the day was scratched and we went so close with our best bet, only being nabbed on the line into second but we look to hit back hard here tomorrow and I am keen to get stuck into things. As always, with my best bet and outside chance I have attached the best odds across the various Aussie betting sites / betting apps and attached them below the tips as well as gone through the betting apps and found the best promotions going around and have highlighted them below the tips for follow me below for another solid day of racing!

Passegiata is a lightly raced talent for the Bjorn Baker stable that is having just his second prep at the races and fifth run overall for the camp. His debut prep saw him win back to back races at Gosford and then Rosehill in Saturday company before being sent back for a spell. He resumed off that twenty week spell three weeks back at Gosford where he sped out to lead by over 5 lengths early and whilst his first up condition told late he had just put far too many lengths on them early to be claimed and was never in doubt. He should be fitter now, Dyl Gibbons retains the ride and will know how to have him conserve some energy for later in the piece off that first run and I struggle to see him losing this.

Vivacious Award has done little wrong this time in the Preusker stable and has been recording times and running in a way that is definitely good enough to take this out. He raced two back at Bendigo in the mud over the Mile and found the line very nicely after dawdling at the start to finish third when the vet said he had a couple issues. He then went out at Geelong two weeks back over the 1750m where he held ground until the last 200m before shifting out and powering over them for a big win at odds. I am tempted to say that the win wasn’t a fluke but we will find out tomorrow.
