Racing comes back to some familiar faces this Wednesday with cards set for Gosford racecourse and Sandown racecourse to continue the week with two solid cards in NSW and VIC as we are well underway into the peak of the Autumn season, coming off the back of one of the biggest Saturday race days of the season. Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 10/04/24
Best Tip: Gosford - R1 - #3 - Nymphadora
Competitive maiden but I really do think that Nymphadora should be breaking through at start number six, although being a six start maiden I understand is partially why she is this price. She was third up at Kensington last time out when being bumped at the 300m but still chasing hard to only just miss out in a driving go. I expect her to be even harder to beat here with any luck.

Best Roughie: Sandown Lakeside - R5 - #2 - Look Sharpish
Looks Sharpish appears to be continuing to progress with each run for the Corstens camp and really got going last time out when second up from a 19 week spell at Kerang and coming from last and two wide in the run to drive through along the fence and power home the best in the field for a big and gutsy win. He now gets a good claim from Clarke to keep him well weighted, will only be fitter and should relish the rise in trip here.

Stats and Insights
- Sandown has a dip in the course at around the 450m mark by the rail. As such it suits horses that make their runs away from the inside, enabling them to avoid the dip at the 450m mark.
- Sandown Hillside has a wide turn from the 800 to the 400 compared to Lakeside which allows for runners to come on from wider that wouldn’t be able to on the Lakeside course.
- Gosford has a 400m straight with the home turn being a long sweeping turn which gives runners time to position themselves for big runs in the straight.
