Racing comes back to some of our better midweek racecourses with bumper cards set for Caulfield racecourse and Canterbury racecourse off the back of what has been an awesome Autumn Group 1 races season and I think that we are set for what looks to be another great week of racing after the $5 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes was run at Randwick this past Saturday. Inexorable gets another chance for me here after continuing to be so honest in defeat with four consecutive placings this time in and I think he is going to be a lot more suited getting back on top of the ground here after running in the mud at Geelong. Lane sticks, the runner up placing prior was in a $200k race and I think that’s all she wrote to be honest.

Kings Valley is an Irish import for Ciaron Maher who is lightly raced and comes here for his first Australian start. As the case with many of these, he is probably looking for further but you always have to be weary when it comes to these guys, bringing the overseas form he can win this without shocking. He had a nice Rosehill trial the other week when not asked for any effort but he looks like a big solid horse and I think that with Schiller aboard this isn’t out of reach first up.
