Best Multibet Tips of the Day | Mar 6th

The Autumn Group 1 races season continues on here with some solid racing tomorrow as we look towards more Stakes racing this weekend in NSW and VIC. There’s a bunch of solid races at Sandown Hillside racecourse and Warwick Farm racecourse. On our onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day. 

In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Friday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day!

#13 - Freight Train - WIN  @ $2.30

The Price and Kent camp seem to have their hands on another good one in Freight Train and I am keen enough to follow him that I am betting on a get out. He debuted mid february at Pakenham where he set sixth and two wide the trip over the mile before shifting out three wide on the turn and chasing strongly to salute in the final 75m or so. That was an incredibly bold effort on debut and untrialled and he will retain a stack of benefit off of that run. I think he puts these away.

#3 - Owen County - PLC @ $2.60

Owen County is another sharp and in form horse who comes here for the Widdup stable off of a few sharp runs with the last two being efforts in which he has really clicked up in. He stepped out to this distance two back when proving too good at Gosford, storming away from the front in a thin race before going out at the Hawkesbury over the 2000m and winning again in a tough effort from out wide. Hard fit, in form, can win again. 

#1 - Piercing Arrow - PLC @ $1.35

Piercing Arrow looks like another of the Waterhouse / Bott camps that gets sent out for what looks like a reasonably soft kill tomorrow, coming back to race off of a 40 week break. He has had the lone run thus far at Warwick Farm last year where he blitzed a field and was never in doubt. He’s had four trials to lead him back into racing and has improved between them. Go well.
