Best Multibet Tips of the Day | Mar 8th

The Autumn Group 1 races season continues on here with some solid racing tomorrow as we look towards more Stakes racing this weekend in NSW and VIC. There’s a bunch of solid races at Newcastle racecourse and Moonee Valley racecourse with a listed race at the former of the two courses. On our Onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 

In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Thursday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day! 

#10 - Jimmysstar - WIN @ $2.00

Hard to knock Ciaron Maher’s Jimmysstar in the Stakes race of the day at Newcastle and this guy has had an absolute belter start to his career with five wins and two runner up placings in his short seven career start and he looks to have been astutely placed here for a ratings boosting win. After resuming with a big bang at Caulfield at the beginning of last month he stepped out at Flemington two weeks ago in some tough company and was asked to go inside at the 400m when fighting hard to the line, losing a plate and still only being beaten by a head in a very tight go. I think they will take that as a lesson to not ride him too hard in front and with the tactics changed for this race he should prove extremely tough to beat.

#2 - Philosopher - WIN @ $2.60

Philosopher just looks like such a good horse for the Jusufovic camp having now won 5 of his eleven career starts and being placed in a further two of them. He took a short three week break from racing before coming back at this track at the end of last month where he found the lead and was never in doubt from there, seemingly not even having to fully let down to take out that race. He now gets turned around quicker for this assignment and with Gaudray aboard and the little claim he gets he should be strong here. 

#3 - Doraskaya - PLC @ $1.85

I don’t see any reason why Doraskaya can’t go on with things here after the way he won last time out at Gosford when stepping out to the 2100m and sitting on the pace through the run before taking over and storming away in the straight there for a killer win. He looks to be in career best form and comes into this full of intent and ready to win again.
