Best Multibet Tips of the Day | Mar 17th

The Autumn Group 1 races season continues on here with some solid Sunday races tomorrow in NSW and VIC. There’s a bunch of decently high level contests at  Swan Hill racecourse and Grafton racecourse. On our Onlyracing website I have posted full length free horse racing tips, an exotics tips article and a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 
In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Sunday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day! 

#6 - Maximum Vortex - WIN @ $1.80

Maximum Vortex rates highly here for the Ensby camp and comes here chasing his fifth win at his tenth career start. He last raced off of a four week break when showing pace to lead at Grafton and slipping away in the straight and whilst he got tired late he was well in front and won well. I think that he will only be improved off the back of that effort, gets turned around a lot quicker for this assignment and from another good low draw I think he will be prominent here.

#2 - Rutilant - PLC  @ $3.00

Rutilant comes back to racing here off of a 13 week break and he generally runs very well for the Hird camp with fresh legs. He’s got a win and a second placing in four first up runs and gets a low draw here, LLoyd aboard and with no real speed around him he should be able to lob into a decent spot early and be hard to catch from there. Rates highly and is over the odds for me.

#5 - Head Case - PLC  @ $1.45

Head Case has only had the two runs to kick off the campaign for the Newing stable but looks to be improving sharply between them and comes into this ready to peak third up. He last ran at Doomben when getting buried deep in the run before really getting going in the straight to run home powerfully and fight on hard to place third there. He should be improved here and from the low draw and I expect him to be strong here.
