Sandown R5 Ive > (Bm78) 2100m
Selections:
#11 Preferential - $4.40
#9 Brave Miss - $4.60
#10 She's A Con - $7.00
#2 Smokin' Princess - $5.00
BEST BET - #11 - Preferential
Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Geelong, he showed us exactly what he's made of. With Blake Shinn in the saddle, he's a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again.
THE DANGER - #9 - Brave Miss
In his last race on June 26 at Sale, he surged to the front, winning by 0.1 lengths. He carried 59kg and managed to beat Korobeiniki (59.5kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $5.00 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. In winning form, don't look past it.
VALUE BET - #10 - She's A Con
Last time this horse hit the track, She's A Con put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Wednesday's race. With Damian Lane riding, you know that She's A Con has got a jockey who can handle business.
Sandown R7 Thoroughbred Club Of Australia (Bm78) 1200m
Selections:
#5 The Open - $4.20
#7 Keitel - $8.50
#3 Home Rule - $21.00
#8 Bews - $5.50
BEST BET - #5 - The Open
In its last race, The Open was 4th at Caulfield on June 29 over 1200m, just 1.3 lengths behind Legio Ten (56.5kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
THE DANGER - #7 - Keitel
Just finished behind the places in it's last start, finishing 4th at 13 on June 22. So I think it can improve after that run and should be fitter here. First-up form looks good.
VALUE BET - #3 - Home Rule
Last start, Home Rule was 8th of 14 at Sandown-Hillside on June 15 over 1000m on a soft track, 4.0 lengths behind Mrs Chrissie (54kg) with 58kg at $26.00. But it should improve here. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1200m.
Sandown R8 Sportsbet Race Replays (Bm70) 1600m
Selections:
#10 Name Dropper - $4.00
#15 Tajanis - $8.50
#4 Big Brew - $10.00
#9 Spare Coin - $10.00
BEST BET - #10 - Name Dropper
In his last race on June 15 at Sandown-Hillside, he surged to the front, winning by 0.2 lengths. He carried 56.5kg and managed to beat Snappy Secret (60kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $7.00 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
THE DANGER - #15 - Tajanis
Resuming on Wednesday. In his last race on September 21 at G B - Great Yarmouth, he surged to the front, winning by 2.3 lengths. He carried 56kg and managed to beat Sailing On (56kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $5.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now.
VALUE BET - #4 - Big Brew
On June 15 at Sandown-Hillside in a BM78 over 1600m, Big Brew started slow and finished 9th out of 12, while carrying 57kg at $18.00 odds. But it could run a place if things goes its way.
