Expect there to be some speed in this race with Alligator Blood rolling forward from outwide, Annevisto likely to hold the rails with Bandersnatch just in behind the leading pair. Alligator Blood enjoys to stride out in front at his own speed, expect him to be hard to get passed. I Wish I Win lacks speed at times which could be costly here from 1 if he ends up a couple pairs back on the rails. Mr Brightside, although drawn out has good gate speed and is versatile, expect him to find 7, 11 or 15s back. Osipenko should enjoy a nice run.
I’ve landed on him here with the solid first up effort under his belt. I think he is best over 1400-1600 hence why they’ve decided to run him twice over this trip early in the prep. He ran excellent L600 splits over similar trips last prep. He was beaten by Alligator Blood with the same set-up last they were 2nd and first up respectively but the gator got favours there. This track suits him better and so does the big field.
Beat Mr Brightside here under the same conditions last time first-up, will get his chance again and be right in the finish.
Class sprinter and can run this trip, question marks first-up over 1400m. A good jump and hell be right there.
