BEST BET - #8 - Romanova 
Romanova’s Debut wasn’t bad about a month ago at The Valley when close to the speed throughout and battled on well when third to the smart Li’l Wonder, she was kept quite safe in betting and now gets Jamie Kah on board as well as meeting a much softer field and I think she has a bit of talent

THE DANGER - #10 - Skepticisim 
Skepticism is the Busuttin/Young first starter and am going to be following her off her recent Jumpout win. She was absolutely trucking in the run, easily winning with what seemed to be plenty in hand. If the engine is genuine then she can take this out.

VALUE BET - #1 - Distorted Mission - (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Distorted Mission resumes after a long half year spell and showed a bit of talent last prep when 2nd of 9 at Sandown on a bog track, however the run tells more as she took over inside the 250m and more so than that the way she fought back when challenged. Looks to be a talented type.

Ivan’s Hero returns to the races for Chriss Waller. Last prep he had 2 runs to kick off his career when running 2nd on debut at Sale when strong to the line and just missing to Hennessy Lad who has shown some talent. Then going to Sandown when running just a length behind the future star Aft Cabin. He has done good work at the Jump Outs leading up to this and with even luck he wins this.

THE DANGER - #8 - Brand New 
Brand new makes his debut for the Moody stable and based on how he's been bred he should appreciate distances like these. He has been primed for this with a few jump outs that have all been in good time, good enough to suggest there's talent. Not sure if he’s good enough to beat Ivan’s Hero but is the danger.

VALUE BET - #2 - Mr Rouquin 
Mr Rouquin was impressive on debut at Pakenham, showing talent and that he was bred for staying races when chasing hard the entire start to end up 3rd. Then was sent back to the paddock for a long 25 weeks and resumed at Wangaratta when wide throughout and again chasing hard all run, to be run over in the last 100m. Is fitter now and gets a softer draw, wont be surprised to see him in the finish.

Immortal Spirit is both over the odds and I am keen on him, therefore making me more keen. He raced well two runs back at the valley when second on a firm track and then went to the 1400m at Cranbourne when he was struggling with poor race recovery from the run prior. He has heaps of talent and I think in quite a soft class 1 he can run over these

THE DANGER - #1 - Margie’s Boy 
This is a horse I love a lot of love for, racing for Peter Gelagotis, this 4 year old was a smart winner on debut before coming to this track and getting absolutely no luck in transit or down the straight but looked to have plenty in hand. Both runs have also come on the 1000m and is bred for longer.. 

VALUE BET - #5 - Founex
Founex should be peaking in fitness here 4th up and I think that is the key to him. He ran over the 1200m last time when on the speed and fighting on well in defeat behind a smart type, just being edged out. The 1300m is a query for that reason but with the added fitness and if he can settle close to the top he should take a lot of running down.

I have chosen to side with Ethan Brown tomorrow at Cranbourne, he gets quite a lengthy booking of rides and some really nice types that I definitely think he can pick up at least a couple wins tomorrow.
