BoomBet has all the essential bases covered for us punters: 

• Australian Racing: Horse racing betting is the primary betting offering as you’d expect, with harness and greyhound also included of course. All the major Group One races and horse racing carnivals are covered as well as Australia’s top racing tracks. There is also full coverage of both harness and greyhounds.
• International Racing: Mainly focussing on the well known racing countries - USA, Japan, France, UK, Ireland
• Sport: Again, a focus on the most popular sports for punters - Soccer, NRL, AFL, NBA, NFL, Golf etc.

Debit Card and PayID for fast/ instant Deposits, as well as Bank Transfer and BPay. Withdrawals are via Bank Transfer but they are done twice a day and likely to hit your account the same day once fully set up. 

📱Mobile Experience - 9/10

The BoomBet app is great and simple to use. The clean UX and white / blue / pink colours make it very easy on the eye.

💸​Withdraw Speed - 9/10

Withdrawals are processed twice a day and whilst there may be a delay in the money hitting your account the first time I think you can generally expect same day receipt. All in all very efficient and just what you want.

A big thumbs up for BoomBet Australia for overall experience. The UX is slick and engaging - both web and App. Customer Service is great and helpful and the betting is all there for the punter!!

Really good with both live chat, phone (with a local call number) and email all offered as ways to get in contact with them.

BoomBet is as secure as you could hope for by virtue of it being regulated by the strict Australian licensing and betting regulatory system.

BoomBet takes horse racing betting very seriously and offers the punter an excellent product. All the main Group One races and horse racing carnivals are given full coverage, as are all the top racing tracks, as well as all the smaller provincial and regional ones around Australia.

Here’s some of the highlights that you can expect, some of the highlights within the racing offering:

• Very Competitive Odds - BoomBet offers excellent odds making it a very attractive site to bet with and helping it stand out amongst Australian betting sites. 
• International Racing - it may not have as extensive coverage as some sites but all the major racing jurisdictions that punters have interest in are there.
• Exotics - are all available on all race codes
• Flucs - an easy click of a button gives you the history of the market at a glance
• Speed Maps - give you that all important idea of where you runner will land in the run
• Tips - available from Racing and Sports and also the really good HotBet feature.

The only area where BoomBet racing could improve is perhaps by offering live betting which it currently doesn’t but all in all this is an excellent offering. 

The BoomBet app is fantastic.

As soon as you open up the app you’re met with the ‘Next to Go’ Racing and a quick touch of the screen will give you the exact same with ‘Next to Go’ Sports.

From both the above the QuickBet functionality is super easy to get to and you can have your bets placed in seconds.

Amongst other highlights of the app are the Easy Navigation and Clean / Clear Graphics. Both of these work well to make the app an excellent betting experience and definitely up there with the best betting apps out there. 

There are some fantastic products and features offered on BoomBet:

• Best Tote or Starting Price - available on certain Australian races pays the greatest of the 3 main Aussie totes (NSW Tab, VIC Tab and QLD Tab) or the official starting price declared. Similarly, Best of Two Toes is also sometimes available.
• Middle Tote - is available on almost all Australian racing from what I can see and guarantees a Win Dividend to be equal to second highest official Win dividend paid by Supertab, NSW Tab and Unitab. 

Eligible customers can also get a Top Fluc price or a Best of the Best price on certain Metro and Provincial horse racing meetings.

Another feature that I love is HotBet. Hot Bets are tips provided by both punters and respected form analysts, complete with verified profit statistics.These profit statistics are independently verified by theGreatTipOff.com and are calculated based on the results of every tip. They are easily accessed from the racing market page.

In sports betting the ever popular Same Game Multis product is also available although interestingly the equivalent Same Race Multi is not a feature within the BoomBet Horse Racing.

BoomBet offers extensive coverage of all three Australian racing codes - horses, harness and greyhound. As you’d expect that includes everything from all the major Group One races (in all codes) from all the top racing tracks to the smaller but often very popular country cups

The racing markets are accessed very easily whether it be by the Next to Go strip across the top of the screen or the Racing menu button top left. If you have any experience with Australian betting sites you’ll find the navigation very familiar. 

If you like to have a bet on international racing there is also a decent choice of betting markets offered on the most popular globe racing countries - USA, Japan and UK amongst others. 

As for sports betting markets there is a good amount of choice of sports but no entertainment or politics betting that you might find on other Australian betting sites.

Sports covered include: NRL, EPL, NBA, AFL, Cricket, Baseball, American Football, Ice Hockey, Tennis, Motor Sport, Martial Arts /UFC, Boxing, Golf, Cycling, Volleyball, Rugby League, Football, Basketball, Australian Rules.

As with the easy navigation to the next to go racing markets, there is also a Next Sports quick link button to take you to the events starting the soonest.

When it comes to sports betting markets, BoomBet offers a wide variety of sports catering to the majority of punters I’m sure. 

Available sports include: American Football, Australian Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, 

Cricket, Darts, Esports, Golf, Ice Hockey, Mixed Martial Arts, Netball, Olympics, Politics, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Soccer and Table Tennis.

Similar to the easy navigation for racing markets, there is the Sports menu button top left and then an alphabetic order list of sports as per above. And if you’re running late there’s the Next to Go strip at the top of the screen.

As with all Aussie bookmakers BoomBet is restricted in what it can offer as far as sign up bonuses or BoomBet deposit bonus. You have to sign up first before any promotions or bonuses can be offered.

In the left hand menu there is a BoomBet Promotions link which takes you to a screen showing some of the promotions and bonuses that are offered.

However some of them are only offered if you are eligible and BoomBet is a little unclear about what makes you eligible or how you become eligible.

The promotions that are seemingly available to everyone as far as I can tell are Boom Odds - which has a separate link also on the left of the screen - and the HotBet feature which allows you to follow and place bets from other winning punters.

As betting sites' bonuses go I have to be honest and say it’s not the best on offer and a little confusing compared to other betting sites.

How to Deposit

Either click the Account link in the left hand menu or the Account Balance top right and you’ll get the screen below.

You can deposit via Debit Card or Pay ID almost instantly as well as BPay or Bank Transfer which take a little longer.

How to Withdraw

Again, follow the Account link in the left hand menu or the Account Balance top right and you’ll have to Register a Bank Account to withdraw to.

The odds and margins at BoomBet are definitely competitive and compare well against those of other betting sites.

If you are an eligible customer, although it is a little unclear what makes you so, you can get even more competitive odds options through products like Best of the Best and Top Flucs.

There’s a lot to like about BoomBet from the fresh user-friendly website and app and the comprehensive coverage of both racing and sports betting.

The customer service is excellent and so too are the odds offered.

My only slight gripe is the lack of clarity around this idea of being an ‘eligible customer’. If you aren’t an ‘eligible customer’ then some of the more interesting promotions and products are unavailable to you, which is a shame.
