Was on this bloke at Flemington on cup day, and again at Ballarat last start where he just missed under the big weight and the bog track did not do him any favours. Happy to be with him again, consistent high-class horse back down in the weights, up to the mile. will be very hard to beat. 

VALUE BET - #5 Flash Aah 
Respect this horse back on the dry turf, should trail them nicely from the jump and be competitive. 

THE DANGER - #7 Green Fly
Knocked off the fav here last start, but is met much better at the weights here. I think he might do his best work on wet tracks, but the only other winning chance.

Progressive 4YO here strongly stepping through the grades. Tougher here, but he has a good race pattern and the mile should be right up his alley.

VALUE BET - #6 Netanyahu
Confident this horse will perform well this race, particularly at this track. Last start finished off nicely over 1400m, comes in to this rock hard fit and will be in the minors.

THE DANGER - #10 Arktika
Looks to have come back with intent this prep, was a strong performance last start at Flemington when wide throughout, certainly has the ability to put these away.

Throw at the stumps here but happy to take the risk with this import because his overseas form is good enough to measure up here, particularly at the weights with an apprentice engaged. Does well on a dry track which is a good sign, trainers would not have him here without a chance.

VALUE BET - #12 Mac ‘n’ Cheese 
This mare has been performing well in stakes races, is beautifully placed here and can bounce back in a big way. 

THE DANGER - #10 Riot And Rose
Forgive first up performance clearly needed the run and the bog track took it out of him. This horse might be too good here, has a stack of ability and will be dangerous second-up.
