BEST BET - #4 - Enzina - (NEXT BEST)
I am tipping in this race as I think this Maher and Eustace product can take this out. She looked great last start at this track over this distance under similar conditions and was beaten by the extremely impressive Flower Press. The draw won’t her hurt and I see her doing well in this race.

VALUE BET - #2 - Captain Corelli 
I think Captain Corelli is better than the story the paper tells. Has won 2nd up before and raced in better company than this when leading and weakening towards the end. I think he needed that run and gets the gun draw. One to include in the multiples.
 
THE DANGER - #3 - I Am Mamwaazel 
I am Mamwaazel won at this track and over a similar but longer trip last time out, he was outstanding there, crossing and leading and holding them all off, powering off from the fence to win convincingly. Before that looked strong when placing 2nd at Canberra over the 1300m. Looks strong, smart and fit and won’t be surprised if in the finish.

BEST BET - #1 - Denman Star 
Feature race of the day and I am siding with Denman star, I watched him at his debut at the races and then moved to Warwick second up, at metro grade racing placed 2nd under Jmac when $5.5 in the market. That was behind a smart winner and his run was good, just kept coming but couldn’t beat winner. He is well placed in this field and will make him my best bet.

VALUE BET - #8 - Relatives - (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Can’t ever count James Cummings out anywhere these days, that is something I have learnt the hard way a couple of times this year. Zac Lloyd aboard Relatives for Cummings in this one, an ever familiar combination and comes off her debut when 3rd of 8 at Kembla, she did enough on debut there to be followed.

THE DANGER - #5 - Hokusai 
Hokusai makes her debut at the races which says something already and is racing for the Bott stable under Winona Costin. She trialled once at Warwick in similar going, showing talent there when comfortably ridden and then sent to Randwick where she started to open up a bit and placed 2nd from 10 at that trial. I think she could be an impressive horse in the making and the market should act as guide here.

BEST BET - #4 - Smuggler's Bay - (BEST BET)
Smuggler’s bay has won 6 of 10 races at this distance, loves the good going and might love the slightly softer even more with a bunch of wins on this ground as well. This is a horse I have a lot of love for, comes off a win last time out, gets his chance from barrier 4 and I think he wins this.

VALUE BET - #5 - Shores Of Avalon 
Shores of Avalon never looks bad here and comes into this fitter. Has been racing in better company, nicely weighted and both jockey and horse will be better for the previous outing together. I think she can run a cheeky race.

THE DANGER - #3 - Major Time 
The obvious danger is Major Time, last run wasn’t great but the map wasn’t really in favour and still battled on strongly, having won or placed 2nd in the three runs prior, a couple of them being either here or in the region. Well placed here.

 Louise Day has been in form this year at all the regional tracks and gets a short but nice booking of rides. I already have her runners outlined in 2 races and she looks to have some nice runs in the closing races of the day.
