BEST BET - #1 Colour Sergeant (BEST BET) 
Dropping to midway grade here. Ran at this trip at Kembla last week and had a nice run to finish 4th. On the shorter side thanks to James McDonald but looks up to the task for this one. Follow my best bet at Rosehill today!

VALUE BET - #7 Loving Cilla 
Second place last up at Kembla, same trip. An each-way play here for sure. I see her being high up in the placings if she is within striking distance come the turn. Really quick pace under Joseph Ible, bet with caution. 

THE DANGER - #8 Jack Duggan 
Certainly the danger here coming off back-to-back wins with real pace. Hard to fade a horse on a hat-trick but it’s a much harder field here. Will set a fast pace at Rosehill and could be tough to beat.

BEST BET - #9 Winning Verse 
Has a good draw here and I think she will benefit from the high pace this race will surely be. Placed last time she was third-up and looks all the makings for a good one. It’s a hard field so I think there are other horses to consider but Tim Clark and Winning Verse are the favourite for a reason.

VALUE BET - #3 Monte Ditto (BEST ROUGHIE) 
Monte Ditto has blistering pace which is perfect for this race. Has experience at this venue at the same trip and races very well. I think the odds are long on this one and is my best roughie of the day!

THE DANGER - #7 Per Inaway 
James McDonald once again on a horse with a lot of upside. A former Kiwi runner who has placed in its last three races, one to consider. The price is again shorter thanks to the jockey but don’t take anything away from this horse.

I think it’s quite clear at this stage who my jockey of the day is going to be… James McDonald. He’s on a great horse here at a strong distance. Well graded here and we all know if he’s at his best he is going to be very hard to top. Next best bet of the day.

VALUE BET - #8 Bend The Knee 
Much fitter than his last start and definitely has all the qualities to bounce back here at Rosehill. I reckon the 1400m distance is favourable and Bend The Knee has more value on it than most other runners. 

THE DANGER - #15 Short Shorts 
After having a shocking jump last start and never fully recovering, I have a feeling our danger here will bounce back. Will lead if she gets a nice jump this time and might be quite tricky to chase down with enough limited space.

I have already revealed it if you were reading my tip for Race 10, but James McDonald is without a doubt the jockey of the day. I know it might not be the most exciting pick, but he will be tough to beat in nearly every race he features. 

I went with Blake Shinn on Wednesday at Sandown Lakeside, and he had a very strong showing. Keep an eye on JMac to put in a strong performance at Rosehill here and don’t be afraid to sprinkle on a few of these runners he is scheduled to jockey:
