BEST BET - #9 - Worsfold - (NEXT BEST)
Worsfold narrowly goes on top for me and is a classic Nick Ryan product, seeing massive improvements on an already tested horse. He was hit hard in betting late last time out at this track/trip and smashed them for a dominant and impressive return. He should improve here and I think really has the makings of a good horse.

THE DANGER - #4 - My Yankee Girl
My Yankee Girl looks like she should be winning, she and Invincible Caviar shared the winnings at Flemington but with protests and the like she ended up losing that race. Regardless, she showed a serious motor there and now third up she will be hard fit and I am confident her and Worsfold will go close.

VALUE BET - #1 - Lyrical Lad 
I have a lot of love for this Phillip Stokes runner and he has won me a fair bit of money in the Winter, after establishing himself as a Saturday grade horse. He likes it wet and he doesn’t get that here but should be fit and has jumped out well, I like him fresh as well.

BEST BET - #8 - Liberated Girl 
I have to give this Moody unner just one more chance, she ran over the mile last time out and Nolen butcheed that a little bit, sitting wide all trip and giving the winner the perfect run in transit. She finds a winnable mares race and gets Kah on now, gets in light. With a half decent ride she takes this out. 

THE DANGER - #4 - So You See
My biggest Query is that they haven’t put the blinkers on So You See. She was behind Life Lessons, a smart horse when resuming and then was a bit plain last time out again behind Life Lessons but also didn’t have any favours there. She’s third up now and I think we will see if she is the real deal or not on Saturday

VALUE BET - #6 - Dane On Tour - (ROUGIE OF THE DAY)
Dane on Tour is running exceptionally this prep and there isn’t much reason he can’t win again. Most recently picked up a win at this track over this distance on the soft going when taking over at the 200 and drawing clear of them. That reads well for this and if he can find a comfy set up spot he will have a big run late in the piece.

I have to side with Micro here, and I really hope I don't regret it because I just keep getting burned on this horse. Micro Is a Cummings trained four year old that has never been bad, went well against the race pattern behind Gundy bridge and then went onto Flemington where he had no chance with the race shape. He is rock hard fit now, gets Kah on, draws nicely and meets a softer field. I like it.

THE DANGER - #9 - Just Johnno 
I have a feeling this may be the one that makes me regret giving Micro another chance, Just Johnno is a Lindsey Smith trained gelding that steps up to the 1300m fitter off the back of a second placing at Pakenham to the very smart Invincible Caviar. He closed that race off well and looks like he may want even further than this but second up and inbetween distances looks good.

VALUE BET - #7 - Netanyahu 
Netanyahu has been smashing it this prep for the Corstens stable and finds a softer field than his last few runs at this track. He ran second to Saint of Katowice two runs back and then I really thought he was going to win last time out when just barely grabbed late by the undefeated Tasman Park. I think the drop back in distance now suits him and unless he meets another one of the anomaly horses hes been racing against lately he has a great chance to take this out.
