BEST BET - #3 – So You See (NEXT BEST) 
So You See may be looking at this race as a stepping stone for bigger races to come. First-up last time in showed real speed to win on debut. Unlucky not to get it done in the Kewney Stakes but looks to have the making for a large second campaign. This is my next best for a reason!

VALUE BET - #6 Smokin’ Toff 
Races well this trip and is dropping down classes. Had a good two starts ago before a slower run to miss out on the placings. I fancy a sprinkle on Smokin’ Toff here, and in best form can figure high up in the placings. 

THE DANGER - #10 Liberated Girl 
Big danger here with Ms Jamie Kah on the saddle having won last time on. On debut, this mare ran on hard to score but didn’t have the greatest last preparation. Can be hard to beat on its day, bet with caution though.

BEST BET - #4 St Lawrence (BEST BET) 
Big expectations for this horse and with good reason. Has fantastic results at this distance and looks to go strong upon resuming. Can come home strong and fight off other runners. Looking to go 2 in a row on best bets, join me on St Lawrence!

VALUE BET - #10 Ancient Egypt 
Looks to run well first-up and is too long on the books for my money. Shows real promise and is resuming after a two-and-a-half-month break. Hard one to leave out of your multiples, especially considering Ancient Egypt’s autumn form.

THE DANGER - #1 Barretta 
Barretta is quite reliant on the tempo of the race. However, the odds prove that this horse runs on well and is a danger in the race. Third-up this time, could figure on the softer track. Would be the one to spoil the St Lawrence party.

BEST BET - #3 Linas Legend 
Having placed last time third-up, Linas Legend looks to go strong there again. The distance should assist in weaving through the field and coming home strong. Hasn’t been in the best form but the extra distance should make all the difference here. 

VALUE BET - #9 – Netanhayu (BEST ROUGHIE) 
Won last start at Pakenham and looks to do the same here with Childs on the reigns once again. Came back from midfield to do so and showed a strong finish to win by a head. My best roughie of the day and if it gets its run, can easily figure. 

THE DANGER - #6 – Saint Of Katowice 
The favourite of the race at the time of writing. Resuming after a half-year break, think the distance will be beneficial, similar to Linas Legend. Likely to be a toss-up between those two but my money is on Linas Legend. Bet here with caution.
